The International Studies Preparation
(ISP) programme is a two-year enrichment programme for grades
9 and 10, designed to prepare students for the challenges & rewards
of the IB programme. It requires students to engage in the
study of languages, sciences, mathematics, and humanities all in an
attempt for them to recognize not only the individuality of each of
the disciplines but also to understand the co-relation between them.
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme is a rigourous two year curriculum that covers a wide range of
academic subjects and has stood the test of time since its inception
in 1968. Today the IB Program is taught in over 3294 schools and 141
countries in the world. Graduates are welcomed by the world’s leading
universities. Certified as an IB World School in April of 2007, the
Georgetown District High School IB Diploma Programme strives to provide
an exceptional learning environment for students. Not only does the
IB program promote highly educated students, but it also encourages
globally aware and involved individuals.
