ISP Program
The International Studies Preparation
(ISP) program is a two-year enrichment program for grades 9 & 10, designed to prepare students for the challenges
& rewards of the rigourous IB Diploma Programme. It requires students to engage in the study of languages,
sciences, mathematics, and humanities all in an attempt to recognize not only
the individuality of each of the disciplines but also to understand the co-relation between them. |

- Students pursuing the Science (Engineering or Architecture) university stream must take Grade 11 Physics in Grade 10.
- Students pursuing the Science (Bio-Medical) university stream & take IB Art must take Grade 11 Chemistry in Grade 10.
- Students taking HL Economics should take a business course in Grades 9 & 10.
- Students taking HL History should take a grade 11 history course.
- Students taking IB Arts (IB Theatre Arts, IB Visual Arts) should take courses in that subject in Grades 9 & 10.
- Students should seriously consider taking the Careers & Civics (CHV201) online from the HDSB in order to free up timetable space.
