IB Certificate

Some students may choose to opt out of the full IB Diploma Programme and pursue only those subjects that they feel most suited for. Students may earn an IB Certificate in any IB subject providing they have completed both the Grade 9 and 10 ISP courses, and both the Grades 11 (IB 1) and 12 (IB 2) components.

What about students that do not meet all of the IB requirements?

Any student who is not granted the IB Diploma will be awarded a Grade 12 credit for successfully completed
subjects. The IB Organization grants these students certificates in subjects successfully completed. Students
completing the IB Diploma Exams can have up to ten Grade 12 credits, so will have enough to apply to
university even without the IB Diploma accreditation.
