Welcome to the GDHS IB Website:

This site has been created to facilitate communication with parents and students interested in learning more about the GDHS International Studies Preparation (ISP) and the International Baccalaureate (IB) programmes.

Please take a moment to peruse this site. We hope that the information here, along with the information night in December, will help to answer your questions about our ISP and IB programmes.

We are now into our third year of the ISP and second year of the IB programmes and students are experiencing a great deal of success. Students in our grade 9 and 10 ISP programme are currently receiving special enrichment classes in English, Science, Geography, History, Math, and French. These classes are designed to help student prepare for the challenging, yet rewarding experience of the IB programme.
Please note that the IB programme is open to ALL students entering grade 11. The 2009-2010 IB programme can accommodate arts, business, humanities, and science students.

"An additional ISP & IB information evening will take place during the Grade 8 Open House on Tuesday, January 13th starting at 5:30 pm in the Library."
